Three graduate students have accused Harvard University of ignoring their complaints of sexual harassment by a professor. Allegedly, the professor threatened the students’ academic and future careers if they were to report him. The Justice Department, in their support of the students’ cited Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, which protects a students’ ability to report sex discrimination without fear of reprisal. Harvard has not yet released a statement.
