The Dallas-based company Buzzbrews Inc. filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection lasat month in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. BuzzBrews Kitchen, a small restaurant chain known for its hearty breakfast, is encountering financial troubles. The chain has two locations, one in North Central Expressway and one in Deep Ellum, both of which are listed as business personal property in tax records. The first restaurant opened in 2005 and has expanded to several locations. Sadly, the flagship location closed in August after eight years of business. The filings list Ernest Belmore as BuzzBrews president and gauged assets of up to $50,000 and liabilities of up to $1 million. In the filings, BuzzBrews assessed it owes money to over 50 creditors.
