A new report published by the Connecticut-based watchdog, Truth in Advertising (TINA), found over one hundred consultants of LuLaRoe’s multilevel marketing company, famous for its variety of patterned leggings and dresses, have filed for personal bankruptcy since 2016. One of the issues addressed by the TINA report is due to the overcrowded market of LuLaRoe sellers, the products have become practically unsellable. While LuLaRoe advertises financial freedom of its sellers, the TINA report concludes that many sellers are more likely to face financial difficulty.
