On Wednesday, September 26th Thomas H. Curran Associates participated in The Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center’s 18th Annual Thompson Island 4K Trail Run located one mile off the coast of downtown Boston on Thompson Island.
The Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center is a Boston nonprofit that uses rigorous learning experiences
to accelerate academic and social-emotional growth of students from Greater Boston.
“The Thompson Island 4K Trail Run has the reputation of being one the most unique runs in the Boston area. Companies can network, engage in friendly competition against other companies and build their team culture, while supporting an important program for Boston youth, ” said Thompson Island president and CEO Arthur Pearson.
This year the Annual 4K Trial Run raised over $122,000 during the two-day event. These funds will help to bring thousands of Boston Public School students to Thompson Island throughout the year, where they have the opportunity to participate in free, hands-on learning and team building activities.
