Thomas H. Curran Associates engaged to represent client in connection with Series A investment in a cannabis grower and dispensary

As part of the recent legalization of cannabis in Massachusetts, one of the Firm’s long-time litigation and bankruptcy clients engaged Thomas H. Curran Associates to represent him in connection with a Series A investment in a cannabis grower and dispensary located in southeastern Massachusetts. Thomas H. Curran Associates performed due diligence on the issuer and its principals, reviewed and negotiated the relevant investment terms with issuer counsel and ensured that our client had fulsome disclosures that were sufficient to meet our client’s needs. Thomas H. Curran Associates subsequently advised the client on the issuer’s Series B financing round and the impacts on the client’s current and potential further investment.
